I love it. My psoriasis clears up in the sun and if I keep on top of it with this lamp (3x a week) it totally does the trick. So happy with it!

My Excema, which I've had for 2 years, has now (miraculously) 99% cleared up and I now just give myself a "maintenance"does
each day. I would certainly recommend this item for anyone! -

Excellent UV light for my psoriasis. I start to see the effect after 2 days! However, if you have small spots all over the body like me, it will take a while to do the whole body, I say a good 45 mins. The build quality is pretty good. It does get a little warm after using it for 30 mins or so. I used to have to go to the Skin Care Centre times a week but now I don't have to! You're paying a premium for convenience, which is worth the money in my opinion.

This works for psoriasis, in fact it's the only thing that works for me after having this pain in the neck disease my entire adult life. One warning though, be very careful to keep the bulbs at least 1 inch from skin. I made the mistake of not calculating the curves of my elbow area (must have been closer than 1 inch in certain parts) and ended up with quite a nasty burn after only 4 mins. Start slow and use for frequent short periods instead of full 4 min periods as this is a powerful little lamp especially if you have fair skin like I do.

There has been a noticible improvent with only a few weeks treatment.
One point of caution do not over expose your skin it will give you a "sunBURN" it is UV, burns will show up after several hours or the next day. Start with 30 seconds per spot and work your way up it will be much safer.
This unit is easy to operate but the included timer can be annoying to use, a smartphone timer is better. -

I have only had this a few weeks but seems to be some improvement over any topical creams I have used. Still too early to tell.

Very well made, comes in a sturdy case. Plenty of accessories including safety glasses, comb attachment which can be used all the time as it makes sure the light is kept at the optimum distance from the skin.There was a stopwatch timer included as well as very clear instructions on how long each session should last.
The improvement has been very good. It was being used to treat pustular psoriasis and found within a two weeks there were signifigant patches that did clear up.
Overall it was well worth trying as it helped when all the creams and lotions were all hit and miss. Some of them aggravating the problem.
As has been said before, be careful that you do not overdo the treatments. It is easy to do and we found out for us that spacing them out every other day worked best and if it looked a bit red or sensitive then we would leave it for a day then resume at the same treatment time as the one before. We would only increase the duration when it didn't look like it was burning or sensitive.
